Library Introduction
- Organization and History
Our school was founded in the 34th year of the Republic of China, and in the 57th year of the Republic of China, the provincial high school was relocated to its current location. The library has had a director position since the 76th year of the Republic of China, with Mr. Huang Qingchi as the first director, followed by Director Yeh, Director Guo, Director Lai, and Director Yang. In the 95th year of the Republic of China, the Information Media Section was established, currently led by Mr. Zhang.
Initially located in the Commerce Building, the library moved to the Arts and Performance Building due to limited space. In the 89th year of the Republic of China, the Mingde Building was demolished and rebuilt. To align with the overall campus space planning, the library was relocated to the current Shuren Building. The east side of the first floor serves as the reading room, and the second floor houses the book collection, offices, audio-visual room, and reading area.
The library currently holds a collection of over 62,000 volumes, approximately 150 types of magazines, and over 5,000 non-print media items, all located on the second floor of the Shuren Building. Service hours are from 7:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, and the library remains open during lunch hours.

- Future Prospects
In response to the information age and school development, the library is actively transforming into a Teaching Resource Center. In addition to expanding the collection, there is a focus on strengthening digital archives to provide rapid services to readers.
The mid-to-long-term plan involves the development of a "Library Information Building," integrating the library with computer classrooms, the network center, and specialized classrooms for various subjects. This plan also includes the addition of a digital media production center, teaching databases, and more to create the optimal environment for both "teaching" and "learning."
Furthermore, the library aims to form alliances with nearby universities to share collection resources. By integrating with the community, the library seeks to expand its service scope and connect with the cultural heritage of Lukang, promoting local spirit and revitalizing the historical charm of Lukang Ancient Town.
