Introduction

Teachers

Currently, our English department has 11 full-time teachers and 1 substitute teacher. Most of our teachers have been teaching for 10 to 30 years. In addition to their rich teaching experience, our experienced teachers are always willing to offer guidance and assistance to their colleagues. Our young teachers are always energetic and ambitious. This combination has helped to preserve our department's tradition of "hard work and dedication" and has created a warm and friendly atmosphere in our office.

English is becoming increasingly important as an international language. Therefore, it is more important than ever to cultivate students' comprehensive English skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

In terms of reading and writing, in addition to the basic textbooks selected for each grade, we also provide a vocabulary book for first-year students and encourage them to subscribe to English magazines. We hope that first-year students will develop the habit of memorizing vocabulary, reading, and listening to English, and we regularly give them tests to help them lay a good foundation in English. In addition to continuing to subscribe to English magazines for second-year students, we also provide them with the latest current affairs English to improve their reading and listening skills. Teachers in charge of senior high school also often use a variety of writing topics to guide students in their thinking and correct writing patterns.

In addition to the above measures, our English department holds reading and spelling competitions (spelling bee) every year, and English speech and essay competitions are held every academic year. We select outstanding talents and provide them with long-term training from specialized teachers to improve their skills. We hope that they will stand out in major competitions and win glory for themselves and the school. We also hope that each outstanding English student will act as a seed for each class, bringing their own experience and ability to each classmate and helping them to work harder and more positively on their English learning journey, laying a solid and high-quality foundation for their future.
